On one cold night when she was 15 she discovered her powers when under the duress of being cold, hungry and being beaten and knowing she was going to die.

Her mind shattered and her powers came forth in a blinding flash to subdue her enemies. They burned, oh they burned bright like her hatred for the injustice that had been done to her, the injustice she witnessed every day to the people around her.
